Ollie's 100 mile walk for HTNS
Welcome
Our aim is to help the homeless and those with precarious living arrangements into more permanent and stable accommodation and to equip them with the knowledge and support to try and prevent them encountering homelessness in the future. The causes of homelessness are varied but underlying reasons for a number of our guests are addictions, issues with mental health, difficulties with money and budgeting, and a lack of knowledge and skills necessary to navigate an increasingly difficult economy. These usually need to be addressed before progress can be made. We aim to provide year-round support for those facing homelessness and to put them in touch with the right services in order for them to achieve better outcomes. Holy Trinity Night Shelter acts as a remote working location for addiction and mental health services to offer drop-in sessions so our clients do not have to travel in order to access their support.
Working with The Exchange at Bishop's Stortford Baptist Church, Bishop’s Stortford Food Bank, Citizens Advice in East Herts, NHS, East Herts District Council and many other organisations, we can help someone achieve a new start.
Due to your continuing generosity, there are many people that are now in their own homes with a life that they thought might never be possible. That is due to the support that you give us to do this work. Thank you for supporting us.
