Shelter manager David Perry has been in recovery since 2017 after spending some time in a mental health ward following a struggle with alcoholism. He was brought to the shelter with a support worker from MIND who suggested that he needed something fulfilling and worthwhile to do with his spare time whilst offering him a route to get back on his feet. After a successful spell as a volunteer he was soon offered the role of part-time manager and as of 2024 has taken up the role full-time and devotes his days to helping others who have undergone similar experiences.

Deputy Manager Ollie Wyllie volunteered with us for sometime before joining our team.

Administrative Assistant Jocelyn Guilhaumaud joined us initially to help with our policies and stayed to help with everything else.

We have 6 active trustees who meet monthly and “fill-in-the-gaps” that the operations team can’t manage. Accounts are filed annually with the Charities Commission.
